Okay I lost a game by assassinating myself. Since when does deflect actually deflect assassinate?? I was not amused at all I guess I need to stay informed on these things, I figured that when it says automatically succeeds that was a given. It deflected and killed my succubus which would have killed his barbarian and I would have assassinated the other guy and taken the font. O well live and learn I guess.

basically assassinate cannot be blocked...... coz it always suceeds...... but deflect makes the the damage that is supposed to be taken to be directed somewhere else...... i know this sucks but the best way to make sure that wont happen again is to attack it with another (weaker) unit first then let them feel some pain.
